Terms of service

The terms that apply when a business purchases or uses OMLY.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to OMLY’s website, subscriptions, single-manual purchases and related services. OMLY is intended for business users aged 18 or over. By purchasing or using OMLY, you confirm that you have authority to act for your business.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, keep sign-in details secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and authorised team members.

3. Plans, payments and renewal

Plan features, manual allowances and prices are shown on the website at the time of purchase. Subscription plans renew automatically at the stated monthly or annual interval until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe.

OMLY is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not charged by OMLY. If our tax status changes, we will provide any notice required by law.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription before its next renewal through the available billing controls or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally refund amounts already paid, except where required by law or expressly agreed by us.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of information, branding and files you upload. You give OMLY permission to host, process, reproduce and format that content only as needed to provide the service and generate your manuals.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for uploaded content and must not upload unlawful, harmful, confidential or personal information unless you are authorised to process it.

6. OMLY templates and outputs

OMLY’s software, templates, layouts and branding remain our intellectual property. Your plan gives you a limited, non-transferable right to use them to prepare manuals for your own business projects and clients. You must not resell, copy or distribute the underlying templates as a competing product.

OMLY helps organise project information but does not replace professional judgement, contractual review or checking against project-specific legislation, standards and client requirements. You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness and suitability of every issued manual.

7. Availability and acceptable use

You must not misuse OMLY, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code or use the service unlawfully. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect OMLY, its users or third parties.

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change as the service develops.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, OMLY is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, opportunity or anticipated savings. Our total liability relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid OMLY during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions can be sent to support@omly.uk.
